THE SCIENCE OF RELIGION Caveat: The purpose of this article is not to discuss any specific religion but to discuss relevance of various world religions in the context of science and therefore specific details about various religious beliefs relating to the existence, nature, and worship of any deity; and the values & practices advocated by any prophet or sacred text will not be discussed. Also, no attempt is made to show superiority or inferiority of any religion with respect to other religions. Instead, an attempt is made to discuss all religions together vis-à-vis science. ISLAM AND MATHEMATICS : I wish a happy,peaceful and prosperous new year 2010 to all the people of the world irrespective of their race,religion,caste,language,region,nationality and economic status. Today,I will discuss a topic which nobody ever imagined to think,namely, the Islam and the Mathematics.Islam is a great religion and anybody who practices Islam is a muslim. There are 5 pillars of Islam.That means there are 5 religious duties of every muslim which he/she must fulfill. Pillar 1) All muslims must accept that there is no God but Allah and Muhammad is his messenger(prophet). Pillar 2) All muslims must pray Allah 5 times in a day at fixed time. Pillar 3) All muslims must practice charity by giving a fixed portion of their wealth to the poor. Pillar 4) All muslims must fast during the holy month of Ramadan barring few exceptions.
