THE CRIME OF SILENCE

THE CRIME OF SILENCE: Today, I will discuss the topic which was in my mind for a long time but I could not word it propely.I hope my efforts are successful. The intention of my comments is to enlighten people about any issue by presenting my view-point and not to preach a sermon. THE CRIME OF SILENCE is defined as a willful and deliberate silence about an event occuring before our eyes which is shameful, illegal, immoral, uncivilised and dastardly. The deliberate silence is meant to escape from our responsibility as a civilised society under pretext of an apparent helplessness. Everybody is guilty of the crime of silence including me. No legal textbook ever mentions about it. No court of law ever takes cognizance of it. No punishment is given to the guilty of the crime of silence. Few examples will suffice. Example 1) The roadside vehicular accidents: It is a common occurance in India […]

REAL LOVE

THE GOLD STANDARD OF REAL LOVE : Love is defined as a biological desire of a human being which is an emotional feeling of deep affection towards another human being which is mediated by neuro-chemical reactions in the brain. I will discuss the love between a man and a woman who have no biological relationship like brother-sister,father-daughter,mother-son etc etc. I will not discuss impersonal love like love for a country, love for a car etc etc. Psychologically; love has 3 components, namely, intimacy, commitment and passion. Scientifically; love is a biological desire like hunger, thirst etc which is mediated by release of neuro-chemicals like dopamin, norepinephrin, serotonin etc in the brain which in turn stimulates pleasure-centre in brain and the human being gets pleasure in love-making. Love between a man and a woman includes sexual relations but sexual relations between a man and a woman does not necessarily includes love. For example;a man enjoys sexual relations […]

NUCLEAR WEAPONS

NUCLEAR WEAPONS: The Nuclear Weapon is defined as an explosive device which releases tremendous energy by the process of a nuclear reaction which could be nuclear fission or fusion or both. It would have been better, had I had written this article as a nuclear physicist, had my mathematical formula of Pi was in school textbooks and had my talents harnessed for making the world a better place to live in.Anyway,I will still attempt as an ordinary doctor with monthly salary of rupees 25000 only… There are various naturally occurring forces in the universe like gravitational forces, electromagnetic forces, nuclear forces etc etc.Nuclear forces bind protons and neutrons in the nucleas of any atom.It is the breakdown of these nuclear forces with resultant loss of mass which releases tremendous energy which can be used in a nuclear reactor to produce electricity or can be used in nuclear weapons to destroy human beings and infrastructure. CASTE BASED RESERVATION IN INDIA

CASTE BASED RESERVATIONS IN INDIA: The rest of the world will be shocked to know that more than 50 % of Hindu-Indians take benefit of Indian reservation policy. That means that more than 425 millions of Hindu-Indians accept employment opportunity, educational opportunity and legislative opportunity;purely on the basis of their birth in a particular family without any respect for their abilities which is expected from them, had they were born in another family. Caste is defined as a social status or position in the Hindu society which is inherited from parents at birth and it cannot be changed or tranferrred. Hindu society is devided into 4 varnas or classes by Rig Veda in the year 1500-1000 BC.At the top of the hierarchy the Brahmin followed by the Kshatriya followed by the Vaishya followed by the Shudra. The last class outside the system is Avarna or Untouchables(Pariah). Brahmin-priestly and learned class Kshatriya-worriors and rulers Vaishya-farmers […]
